What does a Neuropsychological Assessment involve?

A thorough assessment usually takes between 4 to 6 hours to complete. In that time the Neuropsychologist will take a thorough history and administer a range of pencil and paper tests of thinking, concentration, memory, language, problem-solving and other aspects of cognition and mood.

A comprehensive report with recommendations will be written and, if appropriate, feedback will also be provided verbally.
